About South Coast Equestrian

South Coast Equestrian is run by Stephen and Stephanie Geran; a husband and wife partnership who are brimming with ideas and enthusiasm that's sure to make your visit to SCE an enjoyable one.

Stephanie is a highly qualified horsewoman. She studied for and achieved a BSc Hons Degree in Equine Science at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire. She has gone on to work in and manage a large number of different yards around the country, gaining experience in a wide variety of disciplines ranging from dressage to eventing to breaking and schooling. She has continued to achieve numerous qualifications, both practical and theoretical. Stephanie climbed the BHS ladder and gained all the skills and qualifications necessary to become a Registered BHSII instructor. .

Stephen has come from a slightly different background having served in the military. Whilst always having a passion for all animals, it was only after meeting Steph that he become a fully-fledged member of the Equine community.

Stephen has a number of technical qualifications and looks after the clerical and maintenance side of the business. When Stephen isn't completing the latest list of chores around the yard, he will be more than happy to take your calls, bookings and any questions you may have regarding our services.
